    Who controls the market

    Gambling in the country is regulated by the law “On Gambling Activities”.

    Two state bodies are responsible for control:

    • Gosfinnadzor (under the Ministry of Economy) - licensing and supervision of land-based casinos.
    • Gosfinnadzor (under the Ministry of Cifra) - control over online gambling and internet platforms.

    The powers of the regulators include:

    • Issuing and renewing licenses
    • Maintaining registers of operators
    • Suspension and revocation of licenses in case of violations

    Conditions for obtaining a license:

    • Registration of a legal entity in Kyrgyzstan
    • Full package of documents: Articles of Association, information on founders, lease agreements, bank certificates, etc.
    • Personnel requirements: 50% - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, age of employees - from 23 years old.
    • Certified equipment not older than 2016
    • Have a reserve fund for each type of games
    • Submit an application and pay the state duty

    The term of consideration - a minimum of 1 month. Errors in the documents may lead to rejection.
