All operators wishing to operate in the Serbian market are required to obtain a licence.
Regulators constantly monitor the activities of gambling companies, check their reporting and conduct audits. Operators are obliged to provide information on risks and offer tools for self-restraint.
Administrative or criminal liability is imposed for violation of gambling legislation. Persons under 18 caught gambling can be fined. Sanctions are also imposed on establishments that allow minors to gamble.
Criminal liability is imposed if the offence is related to organising illegal gambling, fraud or other serious offences.

The audience of players is heterogeneous in terms of interest. Some players place bets without delving into sporting events, while others actively follow sporting events.
