Basic legal rules and regulations of the gambling industry
Belarus are set out in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 450 «On licensing of certain types of activities». Land-based, online casinos, bookmaker's offices and totalizators are regulated.
All companies are required to have a license. The document is issued by the Ministry of Taxes and Levies of the Republic of Belarus.
Gambling advertising is allowed in Belarus, but with restrictions. It is prohibited to advertise gambling for children, as well as to mislead customers about the probability of winning.
