Google banned ads for land-based casinos in 42 countries
«Google.» expanded On November 19, 2025, the list of bans on advertising of land-based gambling establishments in Google Ads was updated to include 8 new countries. The total list now includes 42 territories. The changes came into effect from the moment of publication. The new list includes Bulgaria, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Northern Ireland, Turkey and Ukraine.
Full list of banned countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bulgaria, China, Djibouti, Egypt, Estonia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, UAE, Viet Nam, Yemen and Qatar.
The ban applies to advertising of land-based casinos, gambling halls and streaming of offline poker tournaments. Violations will result in the advertising account being blocked without warning.
