1. In Ukraine, there's no let-up iGaming wars. Yesterday, by late afternoon, the Ukrainian segment of the Telegram appeared in the Ukrainian segment of the information that the regulator PlayCity has filed an application with the Bureau of Economic Security regarding the state lottery UNL (Ukrainian National Lottery). The essence of the claims:

Under the signboard of the state lottery hides a purely private company from Hong Kong, owned by iGaming a businessman from the UK.

Some of the games on the lottery site are essentially just called lotteries, and de facto there are slots and crash games.

Whether it is or not, we can't judge. But the scheme is well-known. It was used in Bulgaria, Moldova and the Russian Federation. Well, as we all realize, from the point of view of game mechanics, the difference between online lotteries and slots is only in the speed of the game. The faster a lottery is, the closer it is to a slot. A slot is the same as a lottery. Every spin is a ticket purchase and another draw. Therefore, the line where one turns into the other is a thin line.

But in terms of the impact on the player, the difference is enormous. In addition to the fact that a faster game brings faster profits to the establishment, fast games activate ludomaniacal tendencies many times more strongly.
