Monetization of an affsite about betting through TG-channel
I learned about WhoScored(.)com from the news that they have implemented an AI chatbot on their site that is integrated with a database of soccer scores.
I managed to see the bot after changing the IP to and was not particularly impressed. Maybe because I am far from soccer.
But I saw another interesting thing there.
First, the link to ✈️ in the header - you don't really expect to see it on a foreign site.
It leads to their paid predictions ribbon. For £9.99 a month they offer a subscription to their closed feeds: one with match predictions from “experts” and one from an AI bot.
First month is discounted for £1. I signed up just to see how many people there are. I've attached screenshots in the comments.
The answer is 189 subscribers. I think this channel makes less than 0.001% of their total WhoScored revenue. So it's a nothing to them.
Thoughts on gathering your player base
I've been wondering this question for a long time. How can an affsite be more than just a «pad» between search and the final product? How to earn N-times on the same user like streamers?
One of the options is to pour some of the traffic from websites to your funnels in TG. On a free channel, which can then be monetized through affiliates.
Whoever can implement ready-made solutions for these purposes, and then sell to webmasters or convert their traffic themselves - will definitely get rich
Imagine that you are offered an autofillable channel with a ready-made funnel for betting or gambling. That on a full passive it will be possible to collect there the audience from your site, retain it and monetize. Sounds interesting to me.
P.S. While writing this post, I came across another example in the topic - Accuratepredict com. Their TG channel is open. They actively promote it through their website.
