First impressions of Egypt

As soon as you step off the plane, the game is on. You immediately feel like a white walking wallet. It seems that even the camels here know the euro exchange rate.

Cabs are not transportation. It's a race for survival. Something between Fast and Furious and Nascar, only without rules and with prayers instead of seat belts.

The Hilton hotel is a separate world. You can smoke everywhere: near the elevator, in the elevator, at the reception. I think if there had been a swimming pool inside, someone would have smoked there too.

The city center is dusty, noisy, poor, but... it has its charm. Everything is alive, chaotic and beautiful in its own way.

The air is heavy, but the atmosphere is intense. Egypt is not soft, but honest and bright.
