Poland will increase the winnings tax from 10% to 15% from January 2026

Parliament of Poland approved law to increase the gambling tax from 10% to 15% from January 1, 2026. The changes apply to land-based and online casinos, including slot machines, card games, lotteries and other types of online gambling. The tax threshold is €539. The Ministry of Finance expects additional budget revenues of about €118 million per year.

Until 2018, Poland had a tax rate on winnings of 12%, then it was reduced to 10%.
