In the Netherlands, a consumer union is demanding compensation from Bet365, BetCity, Holland Casino Online, Jacks, Unibet and TOTO

The Dutch Consumers' Association, in cooperation with a class action fund, selectively demanded compensations from six legal operators for insufficient disclosure of bonus terms, use of manipulative interfaces and inflated gaming limits after market legalization in October 2021. State-owned operators TOTO and Holland Casino Online have been found to have particularly serious violations. In case of refusal, the organization threatens to sue.

Union director Sandra Molenar said the operators in question were using illegal practices to extract money from players. The claims are based on a study conducted more than two years ago.
