Playtech founder Teddy Sagi suspected of harboring fugitive Ukrainian businessman
There's a lot of activity on the net spreading information that the fugitive Ukrainian businessman Timur Mindich, a figure in a major corruption case and former co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, is allegedly hiding in Israel - in a mansion at Halei-Thelet address, registered to the offshore company Longhill Holdings Limited. According to the investigation, the company belongs to Israeli billionaire and founder of iGaming provider Playtech Teddy Sagi.
Mindych has been officially put on a wanted list by the Ukrainian authorities after a series of searches at Enerhoatom. According to the investigation, he was one of the beneficiaries of a corruption scheme through which about $100m in kickbacks passed. In the register of British companies Mindich is listed with Israeli citizenship, and as an address - the same mansion on Galey-Thelet. There is also a land tax debt of 4,935 shekels (about 120,000 rubles) listed there, which confirms his registration at that address.
Journalists found evidence that Mindich attended evenings at Saga's house together with oligarch Kolomoisky, Zelensky and the actors of «Kvartal 95». On a number of occasions, he may have rented accommodation from Saha or Kolomoisky, the sources said.
The Mindich family owns assets abroad: apartments in Canada, the United States and Florida, as well as stakes in Russian and European companies, including diamond and furniture businesses. After the arrests of some family members in 2025, foreign and Russian assets began to be closed or liquidated.
The existence of ties between the founder of Playtech and the fugitive businessman remains unconfirmed. The company itself did not give official comments on this matter.
