Is the traffic still with Google?

We talk a lot about AI eating up the market. And ChatGPT in particular.

But Similarweb statistics showed that for August 2025 the number of visits:

• 83.8 billion is Google's;
• 5.8 billion from ChatGPT.

And yes, ChatGPT is growing: in some niches, traffic grew by +1233% and overtook Bing.

But that's 37 times less when compared to Google organic.

At the same time, 95% ChatGPT users move to Google in parallel. But the other way around - from Google to ChatGPT - only 14%.

No matter what the prophecy is, Google traffic will live on.
