A class action lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. against Stake. us, Drake and Edin Ross for illegal iGaming activities in the state of Missouri
Missouri resident Justin Killham filed a class action lawsuit in Jackson County Circuit Court against Sweepsteaks Limited, rapper Drake and streamer Edin Ross. According to the plaintiff's theory, Sweepsteaks casino «Stake. us» was created as a clone of «Stake.com» to circumvent the ban on online casinos in the state.
Drake and Edin Ross are accused of promoting the operator on streaming and social media, with the gameplay not with their own money, but with a balance provided by the site.
The plaintiff seeks restitution of money lost to Missouri residents over the past 5 years, fines, and an injunction against the operator.
