The main legal rules and regulations of the gambling industry in Belarus are set out in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 450 ‘On Licensing of Certain Types of Activities’. Land-based, online casinos, bookmakers' offices and totalisators are regulated.

All companies are required to have a licence. The document is issued by the Ministry of Taxes and Levies of the Republic of Belarus.
